Isaac Manual Francisco Albeniz y Pascual was a spansish pianist and composer. He was best at piano and folk music. Much of his music was transcribed by Miguel Llbot and other artists to play guitar. He has a large amount of pieces that are some of the most influencial and important pieces for classical guitar. He was born in Camprodon and married to Angel Albeniz. Their child was a prodigy who performed when he was only four. Three short years later, when he was only seven, he passed the entrance exam for piano at the Paris Conservatory. Many people thought he was too young and was in turn denied admission. However, the success of his son really shows how remarkable of a teacher he would have been. Isaac Albeniz’s control on Spanish music during the romantic period was remarkable. His work raised the bar for Spanish music across the entire Romantic era.

Frederic Chopin was the most famous Romantic Era Polish composer. He was famous as a child, born in the Duchy of Warsaw. He grew up in Warsaw and took musical education and composed many pieces before leaving Poland when he was 20 years old. He moved to Paris and from that point he only performed about 30 times to a public crowd. He preferred intimate performances with very few people. He made a living off selling his work and teaching piano to other people. He became very good friends with Franz Liszt, another very popular composer during this time. Chopin suffered from poor health all his life and died in Paris in 1849. He was an extraordinary piano player, and every composition he made had piano in it. He was influential and incredible in Poland and all throughout the world, a leading symbol during the Romantic era. His pieces remain popular today and his story has been in several films and biographies.
